Fun fact: Despite some of the dark imagery in the last few episodes original some scenes were going to be even darker. The first script and storyboard had Dipper snap his doppelgangers neck. Yep, can't put that in a kids show.

I'm so sad that summer in Gravity Falls is coming to an end for you guys, but it's been a lot of fun watching and I look forward to what comes next! Maybe you could add Disney's The Owl House to your list? It's created by one of the story board creators of Gravity Falls and features some of the same voice actors.

So Stanford Pines is unforgivable for prioritising the Universe over Mabel (which incidentally would also save Mabel) whilst Mabel is justified in choosing fantasy over reality?? You can empathise with both of them without approving for either of them! Lets face it Stanford Pines is all about Reality. Mabel loves her brother, Stanford was thrown into a hellscape for 30 years by his brother... I'm just always surprised when the Gals come down on characters at least trying to do the right thing, even when the right thing is open to interpretation.

I'm so hoping it's Infinity Train they are embarking on, as I'm pretty sure my anime recommendations weren't popular enough to be noticed. But I wouldn't mind The Owl House in the slightest.

Fun fact, the characters in Mabel-Land were based on Mabels sweaters, her sugar induced hallucinations, her art projects, etc. Still not sure why there wasnt a Candy or Grenda fantasy dopleganager. It was pretty low of Mabel to replace her brother with Dippy Fresh.

I'm curious what your plans are for the final episode. I think Disney + has it split into two episodes but it's technically 1 40ish minute episode. Just curious what you guys were planning with it! It kinda sounded like you will watch them together based on the comments at the end of the discussion, but I just want to make sure :p
