Something that came to mind while watching this is that Scanlan's Metal Lute solo could be merged almost as any point with the Power Rangers theme song and it would probably resolve perfectly right at the point where they drain the acid and are dropped unceremoniously on the floor. ...and it would be *perfect*.

All of the episodes are good IMO, but each definitely builds on the previous one...that being said, the next episode is my favorite of the season and I can't wait to see how you both like it. (Also, unrelated, but I would not want to be the person who pisses off Katrina when she's wearing all those rings...that would be painful from the right or the left, lol...)

I'd say that's fairly similar - potty humor, adult themes. If you want something opposite Critical Role, it would be something like cute and appropriate for kids, like My Little Pony or something like that.

Grog jumping into the acid makes me think of the end of the rick and morty vat of acid episode. Grog should definitely go on Johnny Carson's late night show lol.

Is it Beavis and Butthead? Is that the snap back series? I'm not sure it gets more opposite Critical Role than that.

God I love the shot of Percy surrounded by smoke and fire. I ADORE those few seconds of seeing what Pike is seeing. The music change, each moment growing more tense and ominous.

I love this episode so much because Grog (and Travis) is my favorite. He had so many good moments even before the dive into the acid.

I love at the end when Paula revealed her 'new' outer. If she hadn't said anything at the start it would have been a fun and funny little moment but because it was built up Kat seemed to have a moment of... oh... I mean yeah, that's cool... ;-p
