On the Gals's Discord there's a #show-suggestions channel. You can put your suggesting there, if you like!

okay cool, thanks for the info!

The only things that we Patrons have voted on in the past are Classic Who episodes, and TOS episodes; between Doctor Who Series and TNG Seasons, respectively.

soooo.... i realise i am asking in the middle of things, is there a way we can vite on what you two see next? (i really want you two to watch She-ra)

DarkAshtar

Thank you so much!!

This episode I always loved because it answers so many questions as to what happened and what went wrong. I also loved that even though Gruncle stan messed up and sent Stanford to another dimension he spent 30 years teaching himself physics and anything and everything trying to get Stanford back but he was trying to do this with only 1/3rd of the information he needed being he only had one Journal #1 then when he gets the other 2 he instantly knows how to make it work because he memorized every part of the 1st journal and how the book worked just to get his brother back.

Just in case you do not know, an Audio Fix has been uploaded, so you might want to give it another try.

Season 2 definitely felt rushed. It's a shame. I still quite enjoyed it though.

Time Lord

Working on an Audio Fix for the episode! Sorry for the wonkiness, hopefully have a new version up and running in the next few hours

A lot of it was pre-planned. For example, if you re-watch the time travelling episode, you'll actually see Stanford in his house. Also, the car Gruncle Stan drove the twins in (Stanmobile) had a personalized license plate saying STNLYMBL, foreshadowing he was actually Stanley Pines. Lots more! It's definitely a series that deserves a rewatch :)

ZackTh3Ripp3r

okay! watched it now, great reaction, you two are even more chaotic behind the scenes, i love it! now going to rewatch a bunch of the other patreon vids :) (the sound is off a bit yes, but not unwatchable, but i would tweak it for youtube)

ZackTh3Ripp3r

after watching your youtube reaction to the last episode i just couldn't wait and had to join to watch this :)

Always like seeing people's reaction to this episode. Another point about Ford looking at Stan's eyes is a reference to how Bill-Dipper had the weird looking pupils, I believe, so he might have been checking for that.

Do you remember when Stan in Season 1 held a funeral for the wax statue of himself? At the time it seemed so over the top, Stan comes off as a complete narcissist. Now that we know he had a twin brother who was lost and hadn't been seen in 30 years - maybe dead... watch that funeral again as Stan has a eulogy for an identical twin - Its very clever how we laughed at Stan then before we knew what that funeral was really all about! Kudos to Alex & the Team.

Oh my god the sound is horrible!.. I'm sorry you girls, it's pretty unwatchable.. Paula whistling almost took my ear off!

Tmatts

Yeah, this was the case for me as well.

Initially, Alex Hirsch had intended the show to go 3 season of 20 episodes each. After the 1st season, Disney didn’t see the series as being mainstream enough. So they shuttled GF from Disney’s main channel to Disney XD. Which was more into streaming pre-teen shows at the time. With the move to XD, GF lost a decent amount of their production staff. Hirsch recounted stories of times where he would spend weeks at Disney Studios at one time. Whenever he wasn’t animating, he was sleeping in one of their offices. Between episodes 10 & 11 of this season, there was a 3-4 month gap between episodes being released. Alex Hirsch said that the biggest fear he had was Disney pulling the plug on the show before it had a proper ending. Or that he would need to rush an ending. He also said that if he tried to do his envisioned 3 season idea with the resources he had. He would’ve died before completing it. Rather than risking the show being prematurely canceled. He decided to truncate the series and wrap it up in 2 seasons with a conclusion he and the fans could be happy with. The second half of this season to me, feels rushed. But the show is still one of the best western animated series of recent memory. There’s one episode later in the season which doesn’t seem to fit. Not confirmed but people believe the episode was one that was unused from season 1. And that they used it so they could focus resources into making the finale as grand as possible (which they did). While it makes you wonder what the show may have been if Alex Hirsch was able to fulfill his 3 season vision for the show. I think what’s most important is that he was able to create a finale he is happy with.

Funny That

It was just too much. Could muster through at a low volume, but the gal's audio was just set on loud, like Marty Mc Fly forcing his dad into asking his mom out loud.

Josh G

Just an FYI, sound balance seems off. The girls are super loud (like blowing out speakers) if I turn it up enough to hear the show.

Tmatts

Fridays are the highlight of my week because of this series :)
