In 1960, the entertainment biz salary structure was disrupted by television. In 2023, the salary structure is being disrupted by streaming services & AI.

Absolutely agree that the possible failure of SAG-AFTRA (the most public-facing of the film-television-theater labor guilds) to negotiate their terms will cause a domino effect that will negatively impact all the others, and lead to a dangerous precedent of A.I. being used to usurp job roles from honest, hard-working people. In this vein, I'd be curious to hear the Gals' opinions on how A.I. will potentially affect other industries outside of Hollywood (e.g. tech, finance, legal, customer service, etc.), or even how it will affect creative endeavors such as posting YouTube/Patreon reviews. A.I. is equally one of the most awe-inspiring and terrifying innovations that humanity has yet achieved.
