That whole scene at the Con…it was the first moment where the special effects in a Marvel show felt…bad. Like just…so forced (literally), the CGI of Kamala’s effect hitting the Ant-Man head felt so detached (literally)… And yet, you know what I was talking about with my friends when I first watched this? Those animated scenes!!! All of them, but especially the ones with them biking and Kamala talking about costume ideas, and the shot of Bruno’s home with the animated text conversation embedded in the scenery. The art design is just so fantastic. But yeah…as an older guy, my heart hurt for the Dad. I dread that day coming for me. Loved this show, though. The leads have so much charm, and there’s a (mostly) great two stories in this. Looking forward to see how you both like it!

Ms. Marvel is an odd series to me because i still think of Carol Danvers as Ms. Marvel being as that's how I was first introduced to her, and that familiarity is still more tied to her not to anything she did but because in the comics she's who Rogue got super strength and flight powers from lol. I mean as far as Captain Marvel goes I still think of Shazam first as he was the original hero called Captain Marvel, which in my defense he had that name from 1939 till 2011.
