You know, something I do appreciate during Open Book is when Connie first goes into the costume shop and talked about the tunic. She says "You thought it was red?", meaning she does have a good grasp of how the room works. Most cartoon characters most likely wouldn't understand it, or at least not understand it as fast.

I looked up Uncle Grandpa, it must have been at least a moderate success it did have 5 seasons. It's a show for younger kids than Steven Universe I remember hearing about it from my friend whose son is in elementary school school. It also was an April Fools day thing. I do give them credit for knowing how to market themselves .

It's definitely far better than it had any right to be, but I think it adds nothing of value to the show. But it's also only 11 minutes and doesn't harm the show or anything like that either

I think it's worth watching, if you don't know it's coming. When it originally aired, it was supposed to be a surprise for April Fools. Some idiot at CN sent out a press release months in advance, and spoiled the entire gag.
