They could have mentioned literally any other greasy food. Also the joke maybe requires too many association leaps to get... and I'm not sure it's really worth it.

Idk if anyone else defended the one joke of the show... someone should have caught the other implication which caught y'all gal's ears, but the actual meaning of the joke was that Fried Chicken is greasy and causes acne, specifically "blackheads." It was not meant to be racial at all but due to the easy misinterpretation this joke could easily have been pulled.

This is a better ep than the last 2 as the balance between the characters (Cat has something to do!), the comedy and pathos seems a lot better. Kochanski is at her best here and Lister starts to return to something vaguely like normal for him. His concern and remorse at the loss of Kryten is good to see. The dragged out Kryten arc is thankfully done and Robert was great as the drug-addled Able. As already mentioned, the story feels a bit all over the place and a bit fragmented. Feels a bit rushed rather than organically flowing. It also looks good so this was one of the three eps that ate all the budget it seems. Don Henderson is great, shame he didn't get more screen time but he was such a good actor to the end.
