As far as I know there was only one topless model that was 16 which the Sun published, It was not a common thing. Her name was Sam Fox who appeared completely well developed even if that is a crass thing to say. Once the public learned of her age, which the Sun actually boasted about they got huge backlash and things changed after that. Sam Fox, even after that, continued to get her boobs out for money. Strange world.

Rimmer coming back to life at the end of the episode has some pretty interesting spiritual implications: From a theological point of view, a holographic simulation of person shouldn't actually BE him since his soul has already move on. From a scientific point of view, the simulation could theoretically exist at the same time as the living person, so they are different entities. From both those points of view, living Rimmer shouldn't have been aware that anything changed since he isn't the person who went back in time and changed it. the fact that he is, suggest that souls are real and that Rimmer's hasn't move on and is actually possessing his hologram.

One of the most popular national tabloid newspapers in the UK ( now thankfully less popular, but still around) regularly had completely legal topless photos of 16 year old models in it which were a considerable point of pride; and source of sales;for them. In case you were wondering why the teenagers on a beach line wasn't considered beyond the pale. Morally dodgy of course, and we can wave our fingers at it, but to this day the age of consent in Britain is 16 so... On a slightly less icky note, Paula's reaction to the cannibalism joke may be my favourite moment from this series of reactions so far. That one really got her lol How did I find myself writing a comment where I'm describing cannibalism as the less icky option...?
