Okay. So, working on this Rimmer's Dandruff Theory. taking a leaf from Doctor Who, Flesh and Stone, there is an oxygen forest of cyborg conifers and Rimmer found some of his dandruff preserved in amber. ( Well, it's no more of a stretch than anything else that has happened so far!) Okay, Kitty School! It's off to see The Great Cat Wizard!

the dandruff stuff isn't implausible because they been stuck in the ship for 3 years. it is implausible because Rimmer has been dead for 3 million years. honestly, the weirdest part of the show is that the ship is pretty much the same as the crew left it. Lister and Rimmer shouldn't have any of their old stuff still lying around.

Yeah, Kryten's definitely having a bit of Basil Exposition moment when he explains DNA to Rimmer but blatantly he's really talking to the audience. Also, I like how the whole plot of the episode is caused by Cat impulsively and randomly pressing buttons in a very cat like fashion, meanwhile at the exact same time Paula's cat is randomly knocking shit over the way cats do. Weird coincidence! 😆
