I heard about that too! I liked the plot twist. I’m so sick of the secret sibling/parents thing and appreciate the fresh take. You’re right, no daddy/daughter for Luke and Rey but I can think of some nasty scenarios of young Rey and her deadbeat parents!

Rey being a nobody is being rejected by fans. (Together with the rest of the movie, but that's beside the point, lol.) Seeing this, I'm reminded one of the alternatives were her being Luke's daughter. Of course, Luke's no stranger to the temptations of family, lol ....
