Welcome to the new followers (blush). Okay... sorry... I try and stay away from being TOO topical and triggering but this is a drawing that has been floating around in my head for YEARS and now that its done... I can move on!
The recent drawings I've been doing is me messing around with the finish style. This one is a cleaner pencilling mixing fine detail done with a fine pencil with a thicker pencil for less important elements. Also mixed in is a light coloured pencil to sort of make certain elements pop out a bit more. The paper is also a little darker to pick up the white highlights that I'm also adding. Shading is down to a minimum.
Since pencils are way more forgiving, I don't have to be as picky and accurate with the linework. I can be a little sloppy and add details in a lighter pencil instead of depending on shading. Sloppy means QUICKER!!
How do you like this style? Originally I wanted Hanna Solo to be completely in this style (see page of "Star Whore") but I started falling back to my old habits as pages went by. :(

Thanks! I’m wondering if I’m wasting my time inking/colouring and shading. It is such a huge time suck and sometimes I think it makes my art look worse! 😫
