I find inanimate TF fun in its own way - loss of control and such is pretty compelling to me, and I like the idea of a willing embrace of that, so for our starter we have a story of a young man becoming a statue of a much beloved mayor. The thumbnail isn't exactly the figure that's cut in the story, but it was the closest sort of thing I can find. The gold shine on the belly is...hm. Much to think about

I had to sub after getting a taste of this one on FA, too. Blake's infatuation with the mayor feels a LOT like how I developed a crush on my similarly built principal in school. Come to think of it, if offered the chance to do something like this in his form, I might not say no.

the only other story that would approach inanimate as a theme is the anubis one i did a while back, and that's not really inanimate until right at the end and in kind of a broad way - but i always like the theme and would be interested in doing more, which is why i set up this concept!

i understand the ick around death - i like subjects being conscious when inanimate personally, embracing whats happening to them, living a kind of unique eternal life of their own - satisfied in their own way!

I usually don't like inanimate TF because it implies death, I appreciate that its more like he's lost in a dream of what the mayor means to everyone. A swaddle of love and pride, that's kind of nice.
