🕑 Added 2025-03-11 17:18:27 +0000 UTCI am nearing the end of Volume 1. For Volume 2, I planned a travel, but not for the whole volume. There will be chapters in other worlds, and Runeterra.
Ok, now to my problem.
First I planned for the Apex world. Mostly when I write Person A from World X traveling to World Y, I compare the power level via vs battle wiki (don't know if there are better sites). With a new person joining the family (I won't say who, don't want to spoil it for those that didn't read the latest chapter), the power level of Apex is... weak.
Idea 1: So my idea was to write a long interlude where MC or maybe others travel to Apex before going to another world and get things that would benefit Zaun. Could be 5-10 chapters.
Idea 2: Or I could let them travel to a new world without going to Apex world, and the Apex interlude would be 1-2 chapters and you will see flashbacks of their life in the Apex world. A bit like the Arrow series.
Idea 3: Or I keep the Apex world, but make the enemies stronger.
Now, about the new world. Oh, why the traveling? They are stealing some techs or other things for Zaun. After some googling, I could only come up with:
Final Fantasy
BlazBlue
Dungeon Fighters (similar game to BlazBlue)
Why these? Well, lore wise, I know a bit of this and that, because I played these games myself a bit. You can make other suggestions. After we have enough worlds, I can do a poll.

I only know Final Fantasy so I’m down for that. In terms of the Apex arc, I think idea 1 will be best for the story. I think having more chapters will allow you to convey more in depth how the Zaunites react to a new world in general. If you can do that in 1-2 chapters instead of 5-10, then go for it

Final fantasy is good, however if you are still okay with APEX tangentially you could choose titans but make it shimmer/hextech. Or void it up. Oxtane cyber implants.

I like final fantasy for another world….but which ones? FFX,7, and 8 have great character rich stories. Plus machina and materia? Whewww
