Fairly certain Mae meant to fake her death when she said Kill you but there's definitely more to what happened after,

I THINK the difference is that they purposely caused the birth.... where the force CHOSE to create Anakin but of course not sure yet.

Star Wars has been woke except for chainmail bikinis :P hehe... I know it was the bad guy forcing it... Mainly joking :P

So if the twins have no father does that mean Osha is Anakin's half sister? #mydadistheforce

On my first watch, I thought that the fire messed up their power grid and the explosion sent out arcs of energy killing everyone, and that Torbin's scar was caused by some consequence of that event. I thought that his self-experation with the poison was due to the fact that their visit was the underlying cause of the strife and following loss of life. On my rewatch with yall I now wonder if there were some not-so-above-board hanky panky that led to the deaths of the coven. On the topic of force conseption to put it simply. I don't have a problem with it as in the case of Anikin the force took the darkside energy put out by Sidious and Plagus and created a conductor for balance. With the girls I don't think that it is even on the same level as their creation was focused and personal.

Wow, I made the mistake of looking in on the YT reaction/comments - all the whiny little crybabies are out. I had thoughts of engaging, but it's pointless... anyhoo, we're definitely getting half the story here, especially after Mae set the book on fire. Judging from their initial meeting, I'm guessing Torbin and ... the second mother had a hand in things escalating, and that Sol wasn't there to witness it as he was going after the twins. Either way, I expect there's more backstory as well in terms of the twins' birth/creation.

I really enjoyed seeing a new culture and what their philosophies are. I hope we get more of that. The political and philosophical interactions have always been one of my favorite parts of Star Wars. I responded very similarly when Indara said the Jedi don't take children. I also laughed at them immediately counteracting them saying it's a choice by saying that both girls need to be tested tomorrow at midday when only one showed voluntary interest. Mae definitely started the fire but the Jedi being there instigated something and that fire didn't kill the witches. It really seems like two cultures, with all their nuances and contradictions as all theologies and cultures have, clashed and then the side with socioeconomic power hid what fully happened. I do think Sol knows more than he's letting on but he did grow to care for Osha and is keeping it from her as "protection." Mae seems to have quite the temper but Osha does too. And she seemed to be very individualistic about her power. She didn't want to share it with her sister. It'll be interesting to see where they both land at the end of the show. I also agree with Parker about Jecki! She might also be my favorite so far lol.

Might just be me but doing a Force push doesn't seem like the best way to show that the Force is "not a weapon you wield"
