The best live action light sabre fight? A fan film called 'Duality' would like a quiet word...😁

Hi. First of all, I'm a Trekkie not a SW fan, so, my apologies if I'm not saying the correct words of the characters/places of the SW universe. I've watched all of your reactions of Star Trek TNG episodes, but this will be my first time comment on your channel. And why now? Because they shot several scenes of this series on my island. Many of the planets showed, were filmed on several places of Madeira Island (Portugal). I tried to find some Youtube videos of the places they shot the scenes (some special effects were added). Scenes from the beginning of the series (in Ponta São Lourenço): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlF_eZ5Lnz4 Swimming scene in Porto Moniz (from 22nd second to 31st second): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyO9v3IhY54&t=22s The entrance of the cave (it's actually a tunnel) and the small islands, in Ribeira da Janela: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9CUE44PrVk Khofar (Mae and Qimir landing and walking scenes) were shot in a place called Lombo do Urzal, but I couldn't find a vídeo that showed the exact place. This was the best I could find: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twHgmbWNzug Khofar scenes (Padawan asking for directions) was shot at Fanal Forest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqDba0Vg9OM Last episode, Osha and Qimir going to the spaceship, was shot at Seixal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9fzJTJbaU0 And this is a generic video of the island (forget the selling pitch...): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IelAh8CFAQM Hope you enjoy. May the Force give you a Long and Prosperous Life. PS: my apologies for my bad english...

Just giving them support and encouragement. To make them feel better about the situation they talked about at the start of the video.

Credit where credit is due - this was the best lightsaber fight, probably in all of live-action Star Wars. And overall the acting, costumes (Vernestra's dress!), cinematography, music … everything in this show was great. Except for the storytelling. This episode was mostly really solid but yeah, the ending is weird. Even if we go with Qimir hating Mae's guts and wanting to kill her (despite egging her on to kill Sol earlier) it seems like the immediate concern for all three of them would be to get off the planet and deal with Mae later. (I saw people saying his ship only has room for two but unless it needs two people to pilot it there is enough space in the cockpit to cram in Mae and Osha) The senator's speech was great, except it feels like it belongs to a completely different show, one that actually is about the political situation on Coruscant and the Jedi religion. 'Cause it felt like it was a commentary on certain events, but not the events of this show. I guess my main issue with the show is that they could've simply told a streamlined story about the Jedi cover-up and instead spun half a dozen threads on top of it that only exist to be resolved in a later season. And sure, for all I know there was some heavy executive meddling. Like the stuff about the vergence and Osha and Mae being a single person - for one it's not even revealed what it means, for two it's being presented as a big deal but not even Osha and Mae care about it, you'd think at least Qimir would be concerned that his memory wipe can affect the "other half of the single person". (I also don't get why proving the vergence was all of a sudden Sol's number one priority) Similarly, we get a confirmation that Qimir is Vernestra's former padawan … and that's it. I said it in a previous comment but as much as I enjoyed him I don't feel like Qimir needed to be in this season. He's completely unconnected to the murder mystery plot (if you can call it a mystery, we knew what was going on from episode 2). Have him meet disillusioned Osha at the end of episode 8, and you have a nice setup for the next season. Instead you have like the first act of a story take place in a different season than the rest of it. Anyhow, wasn't the worst show but I feel it could've been much better, the concept is great on paper. And I did enjoy your reactions, hope we see Parker in the future. :) (Andor Season 2?)

Sorry you Pals had to go through that over a tv show. I'm more of a Star Trek fan and I don't talk about it in fan places anymore. Except when Kat and Paula do it on the channel. It's not worth bothering. Anyway have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend. ❤️💛💙

I watch a disgusting amount of lore videos on YT so I will just share some factoids that yall had questions about. Anakin was a vergence in the force. Rey and Kylo Ren were a force diad which might also be a vergence? Han said "Ill see you in hell" in empire when he goes to look for luke in the snow. and I think he said hell a couple other times. Is hell the worst swear word possible in the SW universe? do they even have a concept of hell or is it just a swear word? bazils race was introduced in an old Han Solo novel. and at least one other thing came from that novel as well but I forget. They really mined some stuff from legends canon for this series and I love it.

There absolutely are people banging out angry tirades about the disrespect for the Lore™ over "Go to Hell, Jedi". They're mostly the same people that quintupled-down when people pointed out the million ways "there can't be a Black Stormtrooper, they're all Jango Fett clones" was nonsense. I like the bit of history rhyming with the parallels between Vernestra with Mae and Palpy with Luke in RotJ, removing the restraints and then telling the guards to get lost.

Ashley

I am so sorry that people can be so shitty. I was gonna go off for a few more sentences but I can feel myself becoming upset so I will just leave it there. <3

I thought Mog was Vernestra's new apprentice but I probably am wrong... and I think Basil was trying to save him from making the decision he'd regret because he knew Sol didn't want her to die.

Just watching your intro about the hate and my comments are particularly appropriate I guess LOL! I didn't know you had all that hate, particularly for that one... You know there are so many who love you guys even outside the show hate in specific... you really should get some kind of moderator for clearing out the haters because you don't need that kind of aggregation on top of all you're dealing with otherwise.

FalcorDragon

Just getting ready to watch this with you guys, I've seen it and don't know what your final reaction is going to be but I just wanted to say ahead of time that I'm so proud of you both for how well you guys have handled the drama around this show... I've thoroughly enjoyed it and you guys have been awesome. :) Unless you go crazy on things this episode and I look foolish for posting this. :P Love you both! Great job!
