So we know The Final Five™ refers to the 5 cylon models we don't know about. But how does the Temple of the Five tie in to that? That's a temple to five Colonial priests from their religion. We just assume since it's "5", it must refer to the final five cylon models, right? But why assume that? (I know the answer - this is the question I was asking after seeing this episode for the first time)

I love the speculation. I think everyone on Galactica has been suspected of being one of the Final Five at one time or another. You're beginning to see connections to seeds planted from way back.

When starbuck said lee wouldn't cheat, i think she's serious, not lying; because in her mind he hasn't cheated. Cheating is having sex. In her mind what they've done thus far isn't cheating. Recall what she said in the last episode about how divorce is the line she won't cross, but everything else is fine. Her lines are razor thin, in her mind he hasn't gone far enough to "cheat". Now, granted, that's 100% not everyone else's definition of cheating, lol.

And I wouldn't excuse Nicki Clyne's part in NXIVM, I'm not buying that 'brainwashed' schtick for a second. She's was deep in the stuff for years, in a relationship with Keith Ranieri and up until recently was still claiming the whole thing was a FBI setup, while weaselling her way in to alt-right circles for a shred of credibility there, actively campaigning on Raniere's behalf and running a "support group" that was basically her own little cult platform, all while still communicating with Raniere. She was doxxing victims, and selling NXIVM merch until recently.

The key to unlocking who Three saw is of course to watch the episode we first saw her in; who did she interact with and whom has she interacted with since? And what's Cavill got to do with it all? He's a sneaky little Cylon, that scamp. And as an aside, the character was written out because Lucy Lawless wanted out of the show because of what she called 'the cult of anxiety', with intense pressure not to reveal spoilers, cast members not knowing if their character would be killed off or not, topped off with a filming schedule that meant she didn't see daylight for weeks on end. Ouch.

Funny That

To be fair the episode titles on BSG are a bit unhelpful, but all the better to never spoil you. So let it be 'Raptor' as that is were a lot of the story happens.
