Nolan

I believe that is his SECOND wife though. 😉

Troy Convers

Ron Moore has been married since 2004, so I wouldn't assume he's projecting. Maybe it's just good research. 🤷‍♂️

Peter Harrison

Hey, you've got the wrong Ep number in the title of this episode. It's right in the graphics though. Just a heads up.

Nolan

Also, all the anomalies with Hera's blood came from her fetal bloodwork, not necessarily that Hera has magic anomalous blood. Also, for Paula, I know you've mentioned you weren't a fan of how marriage was always portrayed in DS9, and since RDM wrote for that show and showran this one, I think we can guess which writer had some marital issues.

Nolan

The "new hot faced" pilot isn't actually new. That's Narcho. He was on Pegasus. He was playing chicken with Kat in his viper when the Galactica and Pegasus nearly started shooting at each other back in season 2. How much of a scuzz-bucket he really is for coming from that ship remailns to be seen. But that's BSG, keeping track of it's minor characters and their actors. Just like with Seelix now making more and more appeances through S3 after being the only really minor character to survive the Kobol arc back at the end of S1/start of S2. Finally, Razor both is and isn't optional. It does play into the narrative of the show, and you'll be glad you watched it.

I wish you the best of luck scheduling your watches.

Why does young Bill remind me of The Fonz?

Ricky

I would love to see the two of you make a definitive list of who you think the final five are.

Locoturbo

Oooh yes, you each need to make a list for who you each think the final 5 are! Another reaction channel did that and it was pretty fun. I liked this episode more than I remembered. Well-written and good use of a lot of characters, and good backstory lore.

An underrated, brilliant character episode. A comparison between Adama's annual dining on the ashes of his marriage, and the possible death throws of Tyrol and Callie's living, but barely functioning one. It's stating the frakking obvious that Bill is a tortured man and that beneath that millpond of a facade is a man that's paddling like hell to keep at the surface; his regrets about his marriage, his abandonment and distance from Lee and his regrets about Zack. But, what happens if he's closer to the edge than we know? What happens if he falls? Is his 'headwife' the only thing keeping him from the precipice, or driving him towards it? The presentation of her being in his head and her remark about being dead - is that a breadcrumb about her being a Cylon? Boy, that would bust the series wide open. The rescue of Tyrol and Callie is reminiscent of Dave's re entry into the Discovery in 2001: A Space Odyssey. That airlock leak will have ramifications. And their confessions reflected back on Adama and his failings as a husband and father; the timing, the timing. Roslyn using Lee as an arbiter of right and wrong still makes me LOL on my third ever watch, given his personal life and shows how her character reading skills are well, jenky as frak. I did like that subtle alludement to her and Bill not following a path for professional reasons; more, please.

You HAVE to watch Razor, just for Kendra. Oh Kendra, my Kendra.❤️ TBH, use Funnylilgirl's YT version and a rough guide on how to parse it. But yeah, do it as a single purchase Patreon post; I'm sure YT peeps will buy it.

Troy Convers

Yes, the writers do not have a plan, as you'll see. 😂

Troy Convers

A Helo and Hotdog bromance blossoming? Dude! The way he was scratching his leg he should be called Horndog, not Hotdog! 😂

Are the Pals going to Gallifrey One this year?
