A great idea, but his status as an 'influencer' does go somewhere in the series, so this arc is useful.

Even when I watched this on it's first run, I really couldn't be bothered with the whole Baltar Messiah/cult thing. Don't forget the whole Waco cult seemed quite recent (15 years before). I honestly think/hope that the episode, had it been shot now, would have been quite different. I mean Gaiuss Baltar is whisked away to be introduced to his own cult, and literally 5 minutes after meeting someone who looks about 15 is in bed with her. Nah, honestly it would have been more interesting for Baltar to have found himself in a "Misery" scenario (if you haven't seen the film watch it now) and be kept prisoner by his "biggest" fan!!

I'm glad we're here! I don't think I've seen season 4 since it first aired. Anytime I've attempted a rewatch I usually don't make it past season 3.
