My current plan was Kenji caring for Ryota. The first plan involved some tragedy, but the Naruto world already has enough of that.
As for Honoka: she had feelings, how could she not? He rescued her. But she saw that he treated her as a friend, and over the years, her feelings gradually lessened.
So, keep it as it is? Or rewrite it to Kenji x Honoka?”

I don’t know bro both have merit But I am sad because I don’t want him to be forever single and it feels like his in his high 30s with no family no real connection outside of his immediate circle. I do like the idea of them not being together, but I hope he finds somebody soon.

Honestly Kenji not having kids would be logical because while Honoka had said feelings neither seem to have acted on it from the point Honoka was saved to now honestly it would me more sense to have some thing happen Ikakku so that they could get together but that feels like it would be a dick move if done incorrectly.
