I hate seeing the wildlings murder innocent people but my goodness do I love the fight choreography. The style designed for the wildlings is so exaggerated. When a northman cuts a neck, it's a short, deep slice from a small knife: efficient. When a wildling cuts a throat, they take a two foot long blade, swipe it completely across the neck and end with a flare. Every movement is more sweeping, plunging, or spinning. When designing a fight style for a "wildling" a choreographer might be inclined to make the movements a lot faster and more frenzied. But there's a weird mix of savagery and grace, of fluidity and chaos. Top notch, GoT crew.

Okay seriously: the look of concurrent joy and intense focus at Pedro's "the gods made this..." line gave me so much life :D

obviously i'm not gonna spoil it, but when i found out who poisoned him (you will eventually) i had to go back and watch the purple wedding scene again to figure out how and when it happened bc that's how SNEAKY it was

The r*ape scene wasn't filmed as one. The actors were really upset with the editors, because it was edited in such a way as to be one when it wasn't. She was only objecting to the place, not the act. Still not cool all around, but it wasn't supposed to be as bad as it ended up looking.
