Also yeah I think the original script was 14 episodes but the creator thought it was too long so he split the season into two so we should get 7 final episodes this year. Apparently Netflix Korea or Japan I can’t remember which leaked the season 3 date accidentally when releasing the teaser and it was apparently June 27th. So if things play out that way we should only have to wait five months for the final season.

He’s the anti Gi-hun so he’s far more complex. Gi-hun is easy for us to understand because he has flaws but at least in season one he had good intentions and never wanted to hurt anyone. I think we’re meant to believe in-ho was originally so much like gi-hun was in season one during his original game in 2015 and we’re now seeing how he himself was broken down through Gi-Huns experience and how in-ho became hardened. I think it’s why he’s so intriguing.

Gi-Huns bestie, pretty boy and the trans girly were all soldiers. This was all said earlier in the season. It can be easy to miss things when we’re depending on just subtitles though. Also considering the earlier Korean War and how much Koreans take pride in being soldiers it’s not surprising more of them may have been in the army or marines as well.

Because he lost the will to live a regular life after being the sole survivor AND losing his wife & unborn baby despite it all (just like Gi-hun didn't use the money for months and lived in absolute filth). I truly believe In-ho/Young-il was approached by Oh Il-nam and brainwashed into this ideology that "humanity is doomed because greed consumes people, this is a way to prove it and get rid of the trash".

so i‘m pretty sure season 2 and 3 were supposed to be one season with 14 episodes at first, but they thought that was too long of a season so they split it into two, which is also why season 3 is coming out so soon after season 2

no you're right! i think he's supposed to be the most intriguing. not only does he spend the season pretending to be on gi-hun's side (when he's really trying to subtly tell gi-hun that the games won't end until humanity changes. even when given the vote after each game). Plus, HE ALSO WON THE GAMES IN 2015! I feel like people forget about this. How tf did he go from competeing in order to help his sick wife to being the Frontman of the entire game???

The reason why 'pretty boy' didn't end up going back is because it was getting to much for him as he is an ex Marine and he was being hit with his PTSD

That beautiful man at 50:08 should have had more scenes 😔 Such a shame. I think that the little girls father is still alive because we didn’t see where “triangle girl” shot him or if she really did. 🤔 If so, I don’t think it was somewhere fatal which means he could still be alive and she might try & help him. Just a thought 😅

I don’t know what it says about me that 001/Frontman was the most interesting part of this season to me, but he was. Also the dramatics to act dead as Young-il then CHANGE into his Frontman suit to go confront Gi-hun in two minutes or less…just queen behavior, I’m sorry. I gotta give it to him.

Just a side note.. male citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 are required to perform compulsory military service in Korea so that’s why they all knew how to handle a gun 🤭
