Personally I’d say that (adult) Misty doesn’t necessarily have ‘evil’ intentions but it’s moreso that she’s the obvious outcast and her doing all of this is her desperately trying to belong. It’s also quite obvious she’s not the best at some social queues so that doesn’t help.. but she feels like she’s bonded with just the yj in some unique way (which is true) due to that plane crash and so it’s hard for her to find someone else too since there she couldn’t be fully herself no matter what. And either way it’s not like the others are much better than her or at least Shauna isn’t, they just aren’t maybe as outright obvious about it. But that crash fucked them up bad
