First of all i'd like to wish everybody a happy new year, and apologise for the delay, and lack of content.
Second i need to make the following statement, which i already did tweet about, but i realise not everybody on here might be using twitter, but.
My mother passed away last week. on January 4th.
This has been a difficult couple of weeks for me and my family and i'm honestly not too comfortable sharing most of the details. I feel that's way too private and personal to just throw in there as an announcement to the public.
But i will say this:
She died far too young. And she died of cancer.
Now for the past couple of weeks i have been with my family.
Handling everything that comes with the death of a family member.
And that that's done.
*sigh*
It's funny how... death. Can somehow bring family and loved ones together but that's truly been what it's like.
I've been connecting even closer with my family than before, even with my mother before she passed away.
We're in a period of grief and mourning but also love, and warmth.
It's difficult to describe.
Art has been on my mind, as it alway's is.
But i havent been able to pick up a pencil yet. I've been away from home for a little over three weeks and i've only just got back.
I will make another announcement when i'm ready to get back to drawing.

I empathize with the loss you are feeling a great deal. My mother passed far too soon due to a brain aneurysm she suffered. My deepest condolences, wishing you and your family the best.
