I've got something similar, my grandmother's crucifix necklace, been wearing it since I was 12, and I'm 41 now. I've had it repaired three times by this point.

Ooh, it's okay. But yeah, you know how I feel about my namesake/Historia~ Oh! I forgot to comment this on the last episode, but I'll just drop it here. Since you asked, yes, I actually have one heirloom that I can't and won't part with. (A little backstory to me) It's a really beautiful necklace that belonged to my biological father. I wear it every day, just like Mikasa wears her scarf. It's the most important like... physical object because my biological parents had to give me away when I was like 2 weeks old and they died a few months after that. So I'm holding onto my necklace and the hope that I'll see them again one day, and that they're here with me~
