Also I think you misunderstood the scene where Ashitaka was being fed, lol He couldn't chew because he was too weak and needed sustenance....so she baby-birded him. It looks like some kind of smoked/dried meat like jerky so it would help get him some protein and energy back from all the blood loss

btw for this movie specifically, it's really interesting to look into the background of Japan at the time - and how lepers were treated (as they say Lady Eboshi was one of the few nice to them).

this will forever be my favorite anime movie, I'm sure. But there are some that come close - like Belle, Kiki's Delivery Service or Ponyo. The KonoSuba movie is the most hilarious, but you need to have seen the 2 seasons first haha

Thank you Ghibli again! I'll enjoy to watch this now along with midnight coffee☕ Castle in the sky is Ghibli's classic! And me personally Porco Rosso has a good atmosphere too👍️ Sub is better to me but Dub is good too, never mind, whichever you think better is fine🤞

Yes! Keep going down the Studio Ghibli playlist! I suggest one of the more heart warming films to give you time to get your equilibrium, try Kiki's Delivery Service or especially My Neighbor Totoro.
