the movies are considered canon, with characters showing up in the series later on - so I'd highly recommend watching them.

i wouldn't say being unable to use your legs forever is just 'getting hurt' lol that's minimizing the damage that was done to his brother, and that ended his hero career- even forcing him into retirement. A lot of people would say that's a valid villain origin story, or at least an anti-hero one. So honestly, maybe Iida should become a villain :P

You can watch the 1st movie (The Two Heroes) after season 2, and movies 2 & 3 (Heroes Rising & World Heroes Mission) after season 5 before season 6.

Very early on you said, how Kacchan is on the line where he could turn villain any moment As it looks currently, Iida might be the one turning, even tho he used to be the prim and proper model student. What you make of that? If something as "little" as someone getting hurt (not even dying) can push someone like Iida over the edge What would it take for Kacchan to turn Villain, it should be even less, no? PS: aah I love the VA of Jeanist~ <3 Also Kacchan and tame her don't go well together xd
