U had me very disappointed with ur depiction of Travis. U didn’t strike me as a person who says such derogatory euphemisms. I do not think that Taylor was alluding to her feeling intellectually superior to Travis and by extension, the rest of people who do not know the great philosophers of the western world! Tay is not that shallow. She is not a mean-spirited person either. I’m a nurse by profession. I do not lord my knowledge of nursing over anyone. It is my specialty. My calling, my study. Do u understand that? Football may not be literature but isn’t life large enough so that we can all just do us to the best of our capabilities, abilities, and passion. Maybe by the time that ur an older person, u will understand. Sigh. Very mean. People do applaud mean so don’t think that it is the same as being a kind person.
