yeah same. Started it middle school, ended it as an engineer. Saw the whole series a few times in the meantime and it's really interesting watching it again with someone experiencing it for the first time

And Naruto was a continuous weekly show for 15 years (2002-2017). With very few breaks in between. I started watching it as a teenager, and had become senior system administrator when it ended. haha, I grew up with this anime.

Kekkei Genkai is just a special power within their genes. That's why only certain bloodlines have the same kekkei genkai. But there are multiple different powers that fall under kekkei genkai. And these powers cannot be replicated by any average person without that specific genetic "mutation". For Uchiha, it's the power of those eyes, and for others it might be other amplified senses or abilities. Doesn't mean that people with kekkei genkai are related, only people with same kekkei genkai.
