I think part of what makes Sara's death so hard to swallow is the fact that we, the audience, didn't really get to experience it. There are behind the scenes reasons for that, though. The short version is, the actress was unavailable... and also didn't want to do it, since she wasn't too happy about being killed off. When it became clear they were going to kill her off instead of having her get rescued later in the season which had been the original plan, they appearantly asked her to do an emotional goodbye scene with Michael, but she declined. So here we are. If it makes you feel any better, your wishful thinking is sounding a lot like many fans back when this season first aired. "LJ closed his eyes, so he didn't really see it!" "Maybe that wasn't really her head!!" We've all been there, lol...
