As is normal for their format, four of us were interviewed to put together the episode, which covered the question of European and Russian rearmament efforts in response to the Ukraine war.
The episode includes segments by Neil Melvin (Royal United Services Institute), Alex Clarkson (Kings College) and James Black (RAND) as well as myself.
It's a bit more serious that my usual fare (so don't expect much in the way of jokes) and there is no visuals/slide deck but if you're interested, feel free to check it out.

Great interview! Is there any chance you would consider of publishing podcast versions of your videos as well? It would be much more convenient to me than Youtube.

An often overlooked fact is that MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) is a relic of the twentieth century. At the end of the Cold War, the US shifted to a prototype-only weapons R&D model. This was not only more cost-effective, but it also allowed the US to do decades of weapons development in just a couple of years. Those prototypes were put on the shelf until needed. The F117 in Desert Storm is a near-perfect example of this. On the strategic weapons side of the equation, we only see bits and pieces combined with rumors. What we do know for certain is that the US has spent trillions of dollars on strategic weapons R&D for decades while Russia was struggling to just feed its army. NATO's willingness to directly challenge Russia is a strong indication of just how far ahead the US really is.
