Release poll! (important) (ep 2 & 3)

We could do two releases for update 0.17 (episode 3), one on Dec 8th (no cg scenes included) and then again on Dec 28th (with the cg scenes included). [This feels like it could be the best of both worlds, those who wish to play right away can do so with the missing art. But those who choose to wait about 2 weeks will experience the episode with the art.]
So things have been a bit unfortunate in timing, between Thanksgiving last month and our cg artist coming down with something earlier last week.
We already did a poll to ask everyone if we should lightly delay the release of update 0.17 (episode 3) if it meant having at least one of the three expected cg scenes ready for it.
Which thankfully everyone seemed very understanding about us delaying things until Dec 8th. But now I've been updated here tonight that our cg artist won't be able to continue working on the half finished scene for episode 3 until Dec 11th, which means at least a couple days after that even just before we'd have the finished scene ready.
So it's been a crazy way to end this year as we prepare to head into 2021 with a solid release plan for each month to ensure the game updates are at their best, offering everything upon release.
With this stuff in mind, we face two options that I see that we could do that feels fair for everyone.
(1) - We can release everything on Dec 8th as we planned, but episode 3 wouldn't have any new cg scenes in it and said scenes wouldn't be in there until our next following update in Feb.
(2) - We can hold off and instead, release everything at the end of this month. (Dec 28th-29th) with the three cg scenes planned to be seen in episode 3.
Either option that feels best for everyone, it'll still mean that the next following game release updates wouldn't be until Feb 3rd, regardless of which plan above we go with.
We're extremely sorry about how crazy things have been, it's a busy time of the year even with covid involved and sadly it's normally around the time when people get sick with the flu. >.< So please, please let us know what feels like the best course of action

This guy has a humongous, throbbing brain tbh, a double release would be the best of both worlds.
This is something we could possibly do for everyone as well, if it feels like the best choice for everyone. Which honestly it sounds like a win, win for everyone involved. (Those who can't wait for the art, can still play and check everything out right away. Those willing to hold off a little around 2 more weeks can check it out with the intended art included.)
Why not release it without the content on the 8th AND release the updated content at the end of the month? waiting until the 29th is essentially the same as getting no update at all for december
Minor note: For (2) we could release it earlier too, if the art is ready before that set date. Just trying to play it safe to consider how much time at the max might be needed for finishing the first scene of ep 3, then the other two.
