I'll use this chance to add a small tidbit to this planned illustration, though:
If everything works out the way I want it to, it will be used for the 1. Chapter/Prologue of the sequel.
The current story will end with chapter 400.

Nothing much will change, though. There will be a slight time-skip (to spring), and everything else just continues as it would be chapter 401 (maybe with an extra chapter for a recap and another one for character introductions)
The whole reason for it is that the story has already gotten really long, and it might scare away some newcomers.
And, MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY, I want to get rid of some "stuff", that happened in the beginning. The human part, especially. They will make a return, but it will be more of a redemption thing. Not them being nothing but scum.
Honestly, I had thought nothing about making the humans the way I did. I just wanted a cheap excuse to make Sophia fluffy!
Otherwise, I also still feel like my beginning chapters were pretty "weak", and I think the story has improved a LOT over time, so maybe I'll be able to have a more solid start here.

I guess it goes both ways, yeah. Then again, one can see in the synopsis/the story page that it is a sequel, so it's obvious that many chapters have already happened.

Mhmm... I like that idea. I feel the black is a bit more "classy", but I'll ask to get a version with both.

Dunno about the new book thing. Personnally, I won't try a story that does'nt have at least a "few" chapters in it (aka 50 or 70 already). Maybe because I've seen a lot of stories getting dropped at this number. Seeing one with a lot of chapters and getting updated regularly usually make me want to giving it a try.

Oh, I like the start, but I feel like it could be better. I was still trying to find my way with the story and played a lot of stuff. Some stuff also was needlessly awkward...

Don't be too hard on yourself, I've been here since the story popped up in my scribblehub previews when there were only a few chapters... and I've loved it ever since... so give yourself a pat on the back...
