On Vacation...?
🕑 Added 2025-01-03 02:17:28 +0000 UTCFirstly, I hope you all had pleasant holidays (and more to come for some)! Whether you spent some time with family and/or friends or simply potatoed your couch, I hope you got to relax and decompress.
Secondly, I swear I'm not on vacation. I'm just disconsolate. Depressions come in, depressions go out. You can't explain that. And I know I sound flippant about it, but that's one of the primary methods I use to deal with it.
I apologize for not checking in over the last couple weeks, especially since I owe you all a new game update. I'm really sorry about that. I also owe people free subscriptions but I haven't had time to get to that yet. I may sound flippant about that, too, but it honestly puts my stomach in knots.
In good news, the gears are starting to turn again and I've been surprisingly focused today. (Honestly you should have seen this wallpaper when I nearly posted it last week. I'd call it uninspired, but it was only fit for the recycle bin.) Anyway, things are chugging along again thankfully. Once the melancholy lifts, I'll be back to full speed.
But in bad news, I'm starting another job next week. I had to pick up something to stop the bleeding. This will mean less time for Healslut, unfortunately, but it also means I can stop eating so much damn ramen. If all goes well then I will pause support for January.
I'll have more (actual) development news after this weekend.

Hey, do take care of yourself, I've often gotten depressed because of burnout. You may very well NEED a vacation, and it's ok to be human and need it. If you do, take it, we'll all be the better off for it ❤️

I literally just got off the phone after talking about the fad ramen buns on hamburgers that would fall apart after 2 bites. Anyway, I regularly eat ramen for my evening meal, if i don't have or want a lot of food. Hang in there, glad the D-Word is under control.

Hey, ramen is pretty good. I wish I could eat that all the time. Unless you mean those instant noodles things made of nothing but salt... Then, blehh.
