Announcement: New Story
🕑 Added 2023-02-13 15:30:37 +0000 UTCYes, the title is not lying, I am starting to write a new story. Don't worry though, I will still continue Magical Marvel with the same schedule as before (3-4 chapters a week) but I wanted a breath of fresh air, hence the new story, which I will write in my spare time.
I will continue writing the new story until I reach 20 chapters, after which I will start uploading it on other sites. I will upload them on the days I don't upload Magical Marvel chapters.
I am asking you to give me constructive criticism on the first few chapters, and give me suggestions on how to proceed further.
Now, the story is a Harry Potter SI (Self-Insert) where the MC doesn't happen to be the BWL. I didn't really get to write about the Hogwarts experience in Magical Marvel, and I didn't get to write about Jasmine's magical growth. The main plot would be about Harry's rise to the top, to being the best wizard that ever existed. There will be nuances and so, and the world will be far more complicated than canon.
Now, I have posted the five new unedited chapters that I have written (You'll see the words New Story at the start of the title), and I'm asking you to suggest a title for the story and a good synopsis. You can give any suggestions you want for the direction of the stories as well. If you don't like the story please let me know so that I could adjust it appropriately.

It looks good so far, for an introduction. I felt the pacing was a bit on the slow side, for chap 2 and 3 especially (chap 1 was acceptable as a prologue, but 2 and 3 felt more "tell" and less "show"). By chapter 4 I was much more engaged in the story, probably because of the dialogue in the scene (showing rather than telling). A clever SI Harry Potter in a somewhat more world built universe is something I am interested in reading.
