Shadowsmage

tommy was never wrapped too tight and our MC is screwed because like our cannon harry potter he is reactive not active

Chris

Dumbledore is very manipulative but for the greater good. There is a reason JKR has stated that the half blood prince is obviously Snape but it also is a wink and a nod to Dumbledore who is also a half blood and based of the main character in Machiavelli's work: The prince. You see this more clearly in the new movies where he movies where he moves Newt around like a chess piece. To be honest I believe he does care about those around him but he is absolutely willing to sacrifice them if needed.

TyrantGod

Might sound sadistic, I am glad MC realizes how much he fucked up by being inactive

TyrantGod

Some of them do. For example, only one person can become an Immortal Emperor in an era to due limitation of world’s laws, there are stories cultivator stories of mages becoming powerful using laws of light, darkness, elements etc

athass_prkr

I actually never read any of those. Is that really a thing? because that would be a crazy coincidence.

athass_prkr

Who said that Dumbledore was the antagonist in the story? Trust me, I spent a lot of time organizing the lore for this story. Trust me when I said that I was going to do a lot of world-building. All I'm going to say is: Spoiler ;)

athass_prkr

Spoiler ;)

Alfred Demonreach

Voldy is crazy. Really hope plot armor activates. Nothing worse to read than a slave MC

Salokin

Really hope that Harry doesn't take this bargain. Like I hope that something comes up and he escapes.

Salokin

I think this version of Riddle is the same, its just masked behind a two-layer mask of quasi-philosophical justifications.

TyrantGod

Sound similar to some cultivation novels where there can only be one or two overlords due to limitation of the world.

Gummyking2

I personally believe dumbledore wouldn’t be so manipulative but more of an old man with too many responsibilities that things fall through the cracks. He’s more of a power of hope kinda guy, he believes the outcome will sort itself out

Gummyking2

I’m not a huge fan of the light/dark champions, but I can see potential for the rest of the story. I also don’t really like this style of dumbledore, he appears genuinely malicious in this story… of course you can’t really trust voldy at his word

Fernzyyyy

Why would he need an heir if he is immortal? He would see this as a weakness

Fernzyyyy

Canon Riddle was nothing but a selfish, arrogant and megalomaniacal wizard. Who wanted to reach the top not for peace but for subjugating the weak. He went against natural laws just to become powerful and eliminate all threats to him

Fernzyyyy

Hahahaha this version of Voldemort is truly the embodiment of the greater good philosophy. Loool he is even more utilitarian than Dumbledore and Grindelwald haha it's almost laughable

Chris

Excellent ideas! Pretty cool.

Gilgamos

It’s new and the first time I’ve seen this so I can’t help but get excited and see how this will unfold

athass_prkr

I kinda went on a bit of a stretch here. Let me know what you think of it. I'm not exactly sure if you'll like this version of Voldemort or not...
