Róbert Fáber

I am still not sure how I feel about Harry killing a god in his second year , I just hope this won't make further conflict feel pointless and that the colt won't be used to solve all problems anticlimactically

Joe Neal

I love that Harry has his own Peacemaker as a nod to Wyatt Earp

DraconianGreed

I enjoyed this arc so much, but I’m not sure how another villain will be as good as Tom Riddle. Maybe Lucius could be the next baddy? His power base caused quite a few problems and could be an obstacle for Harry’s Firebolt scheme.

Harry gave a lot of Sherlock Holmes vibe. I am loving this….

I think it would just be enough for Harry to be strong enough to force Dumbledore to shatter his own image if he were ever try to destroy Harry. I’m thinking Harry could learn Parseltongue and then come up with the inverse and carefully use it to let the World snake’s energy fill him. If Parseltongue is about encompassing the snake with your magic then the reverse should be possible. Maybe he should try to come up with a ritual to scrub the Snaki-ness if it doesn’t appeal to him. There’s no reason for him to adopt Snake affinities if he has a choice. Doing that would make him too similar to Tom too quickly in Dumble’s eyes. Actually, come to think of it, if Harry manages to replicate Parseltongue, shouldn’t he be able to replicate the feat with other creatures through his arcane hearing? Every fantasy world could use having a Draconic language. Using Draconic on a normal dragon could even be a way for them to become Elder ones.

This chapter was epic. I love how Harry made it clear to Tom Riddle, that from the beginning there was no chance at all that Harry was going to be defeated. Even if, Tom Riddle as he was then was stronger and a better fighter than Harry, it did not matter because Harry was much more smarter than Riddle and used all of Riddle's weaknesses against him. Riddle lost before Harry even stepped into the Chamber of secret. I have to say, it is saddening to know Jörmungandr had to die, it was truly a great relic of the Age of Gods and to see it die and it disappear from the world is saddening. What are the chances that Harry will find a way to absorb the powers of Jörmungandr and make it his own. Not now of course as Harry has no idea how to do so, but like he said it will take years for Jörmungandr to actually die and for its powers to dissipiate, chances are Harry has a good chance of finding a way to absorb all of its powers to put him on a level of power above Dumbledore. In Voldemort's pov chapter at the end of the first year, he did say he intended to absorb the powers of the champions of the dark and the light, like Solomon did in ancient times. If Harry could do that and absorb the powers of a dying god, he would be powerful in his own right. I hope that Harry will be smart enough and skilled enough in Occlumency to keep everything that happened in the chamber from Dumbledore, after all the fact that Dumbledore did not enter the chamber means he can only gain his information second hand and Neville will only know what happens upto the point Harry knocked him him unconcious.

That was epic! It reminded me of Truth’s conversation with the dwarf in the flask. “You stole your power from others, you rejected your human origins and chose to cover the power of what you called God. You never grew beyond your days in the flask.”

I'm not sure this chapter came out the way I wanted it to. Please let me know what you think of it...
