What-If #21 - A "Perfect" Cell-Max..!? Updates and more!

Also, here's some key-points about the animation's story!
It's still in the works, but Gohan Beast's transformation is attributed and speculated to be derived from several factors in the animation, them being:
- Piccolo's influence on Gohan at the time Piccolo was still a 'Demon', before he had fused with Nail and Kami, could it have contributed to this transformation, perhaps this is why Gohan's appearance looks more 'Demonic' than usual..!?
- Gohan's Rage throughout his life, which last manifested when he became a Super Saiyan 2 at the Cell Games... The story speculates on whether the 'Super Saiyan 2' Gohan had unlocked back then was the same Super Saiyan 2 the latter cast and himself have shown, or perhaps his rage had altered it even further at the Cell Games. The same thing happening now, which explains the hairstyle being similar to that same 'Super Saiyan 2'.
- Elder Kai's unlock ritual, which had Gohan dive into his full potential, and thereby let him tap into the deepest reserves of his hidden rage.
All these attributes of Gohan clash within one another, akin to Nuclear Fusion..!!

Hi! 1) Indeed so. There's even dialogue where Cell Max hints that Hedo couldn't compare to Dr. Gero's genius in making bio-androids. 2) Top Middle are some sort of scattering ki blasts, I wasn't aiming for an already used technique in the franchise. Middle is Solar Kamehameha (Being based on Cell's blueprints and data, some of the data, such as techniques, that the original Cell has gathered throughout his life are copied by Cell Max). 3) He does. Some more questions. 1) Does Cell Max harbor feelings of resentment towards Dr. Hedo? 2) Of the snippets shown, the top middle and middle one, what techniques is Cell Max using? I assume the top middle has Disaster Ray, but the middle one has Cell Max doing the Kamehameha pose. 3) Does Cell Max still possess a weakness on his head, as his canonical incarnation does?

Hi! That is still being in the works. It's actually one of the few things in the script I haven't completely decided on. I feel Piccolo's "death" is too repetitive and predictable to trigger a transformation, as where Dragon Ball stands now, so I'll try coming up with a different reason altogether!

Is Piccolo apparent death being what triggers Gohan to go Beast, like in the movie? Or will it be something else?
