I think the main hate from AI generated stuff is when it's used either 1. Lazily by a AAA developer just trying to up their profits (see COD) 2. Or if it's just a complete replacement for anything done by humans It sounds like for your use case , it's completely reasonable. My only advice is to just be sure to CLOSELY look at anything you generate and fix any mistakes the AI might make - i.e. making sure it's not going around giving people 6 fingers on their hand and stuff like that

Nice to hear you so soon. I'm totally okay with "comic book" cutscenes, the the game itself should be higher focus - and there's lots of games with static image cutscenes =)
