@Aguy768 Dives for cover, in the backseat of a car? :D Also, 1,5 seconds to draw and aim is plenty if a deckbearer needs 2,5 seconds to even summon their deck. And then they haven't even played any cards yet. @John Stovall/Tharsult Fair point about the inability to disarm a deckbearer. Though I think driving around with drawn pistols inside a car is a bit much and unnecessary. Personal opinion. :)

I just meant because you can disarm someone, but can't ever take the option for quick violence away from a deckbearer; I'll make it clearer

Aguy768

The issue is if he dives for cover. It takes time to aim properly and it's surprising at how poor accuracy gets on a moving target. Unless your trick shot specialist, drawing and aiming accurately in less then a 1.5 seconds just isn't happening. Honestly, unless you get lucky with your shots a deck bearer likely can pull and play while bleeding out.

Glad to see more DCE chapters, and love the new card - feels like I can see an entire deck combo built around some of the interactions there!

Thanks for the chapter. "you could never be careful enough with a deckbearer, who only took about two-and-a-half seconds to summon their decks." I mean, is that suppose to be quick? :D The current record for quick draw is 0,208 seconds. As in, it takes 0,208 seconds to unholdster, cocked, drawn, aimed , and fired a pistole. With the hand not touching the pistole at the start and having to actually hit the target. Fun fact: The human reaction time is around 0,2 to 0,25 seconds, so that happens literally so fast that most humans will not be able to react. Even someone that just trains a bit should be able to get to under one second.
