Can One Displaced Hero Save a Galaxy? Ch 16-20
🕑 Added 2023-12-09 01:58:54 +0000 UTCTime for another release of Displaced Hero! And this one is a big one, at least by my standards. I really wanted to reach a specific point in the story, so I pushed and wrote close to 12,000 words! In this set of chapters, we finally get introduced to a few characters that will be around for more than a chapter or two. None of them are really intended to be 'main' characters, but they will be major supporting characters who appear repeatedly in the future. I'm quite happy with how far I got this time and pretty happy with how the two characters turned out. I hope you enjoy it :-)!

The way it was done in what I read was great! Because it was simple and their reactions in finding out, was funny!

*Spoiler Alert!* ... ... .... ..... If you're still reading, I assume you've either read the new stuff already or are okay with a spoiler! I just wanted to add a bit of a note about Aayla's belt being dealt with so off-handedly. I'd always intended to have the Force be the answer. But originally I'd intended to make a bigger deal out of it. All attempts to make it more...dramatic...failed, though. The ways I tried to go about it just didn't fit with Fay's personality. In example, one option was for her to make Aayla learn to do it herself. But...that doesn't really fit with how genuinely kind Fay (or at least my interpretation of her) is. So...yeah. Sorry if it was a bit anti-climactic...
