Displaced Hero Relationship Poll - Round 1!

I've honestly been trying to figure out the best way to do this, as it's a bit more of a complicated situation than the relationship polls for the other fics. So, before anything else, let me lay out two general things.

1) I generally don't do 'flings' or one-nights stands. My current fics aren't smut fics, which means I try to depict genuinely healthy relationships, even with multi-ships. Don't suggest them as a solution, you will be ignored. There is one situation within the many, many possible permutations of pairings for this fic where I might consider an encounter that isn't a dedicate relationship. And it's only because I've already established Izuku's PA Asora as an ex-stripper with a flirty/teasing personality and open sexuality. Even then, it will/would only happen in a very specific pairing mix.
2) Max number of girls. I always set a max number for a fic with a multi-pairing, so that the pairing doesn't take over the fic. Luckily (or not if you don't like multi-pairings) Star Wars actually makes it easier to juggle this sort of thing, as the characters will often be half a galaxy away from each other going their own parts in the story. As such, I'm comfortable setting the same limit for this fic as I did Halfway Broken. The soft limit for this relationship is Four Girls. Two of those slots are already taken by Aayla and Mei. With specific pairing arrangements (detailed below as part of this poll), I would be willing to make it five. That is the only current exception I can think of.

Now, currently, there are three girls that I'm seriously considering as possible additions to the pairing. Padmé, Shaak Ti, and Asajj Ventress. I'm open to additional suggestions, but frankly there aren't a lot of characters in the appropriate age brackets at this point of the story that I can think of. Previously, I've done relationships polls as a straight popularity run-off. But Padmé is...complicated. Mostly because of her handmaidens and canon relationship. Enough so that I ultimately decided I should probably do her first and separately. She is the subject of this poll. Two important points to note:
1) Anakin will not, under any circumstances, be paired with Padmé. I loathe their relationship and legitimately do not give any fucks that splitting them up prevents Leia and Luke from being born. I won't write it Anakin/Padmé as a pairing, don't ask for it, and don't vote against her just out of blind hope I'll write her with Anakin. I won't. Not even if they were the last two humans in the galaxy. Padmé would settle for a nice tentacle monster instead if that was the case, as it would be a much healthier and more emotionally fulfilling option.
2) I'm not getting the Handmaidens involved En Masse. I debated holding my cards closer to my chest on this one, but I realized that it would wildly swing some people's votes if they realized there's a plan regarding Sabé, at least. She is the ONLY one of the Handmaidens I would willingly add to the main pairing. But I actually have an alternative option for her.

(Potential Spoiler Alert!) If Padmé is paired with Izuku, then the existing plan is to pair Sabé with Asora (Izuku's Personal Assistant). Which, also a bit of a spoiler, is the combination that I mentioned might produce the only non-dedicated-relationship shenanigans I mentioned earlier. I could legitimately see Sabé and Asora getting involved in certain sorts of joint fun if Padmé is part of the main pairing. With Sabé/Asora being the ones to initiate it as their shameless mischief making boosts each others.

Should Padmé be added to the pairing?
*Special Note: Please read the spoiler alert section above before voting for Padmé+Sabé. As it would invalidate the option provided there, which is the current plan unless people vote against Padme. Addendum to this note: Just for clarity, as there has been some confusion. If you want to see Asora/Sabe together and that pair getting involved with Izuku and his girls, you need to vote for PADME ONLY. If Sabe joins the MAIN pairing, Asora will not get involved with them at all.

*waggles hand in so-so motion* Among their own people? Absolutely. Wouldn't try to hide it at all. To the general public? That's a bit more dicey since Padme is now the ambassador between the League and Republic. Meaning she'd be literally in bed with the leader of one group when she's supposed to be representing both sides. That might have nasty political backlash if it got found out. Actually, Sabe being involved would give them an outlet since it would be less scandalous for a handmaiden to be involved (indeed, many of the politicians might assume Padme had her handmaiden seduce him as a spy). Meaning they could both pretend to be Sabe when they wanted public time together, if they wanted.

If Sabe and Padme are both in, then they could be more directly open about the relationship even when Sabe is in decoy mode. Less furtive.

Yeah, I'm kinda wondering that myself. I really sort of thought people would like the Asora/Sabe plan, particularly if it meant getting them into kinky shenanigans with the main pairing. So either people aren't bothering to read, or they REALLY want Sabe as part of the main pairing?

I don't know how many people are actually reading that spoiler warning or are just going 'yay! more!' and clicking, but I hope his assistant gets in on the fun anyway. I like her character.

Now I'm just as confused as you are. :-p If Padme joins the Main Pairing but Sabe does not, then Sabe + Asora get together. IF that happens, then the Sabe + Asora pair may tempt the main set to get involved in some fun with them. If Padme AND Sabe join the main pairing, then Asora likely won't get involved, as involving Sabe with everyone in the main pairing will add enough complexity on its own. For clarity, since even I'm confused now, Asora will only get involved if Sabe is NOT in the main pairing. Hence, voting for the Padme option, rather than the Padme + Sabe option, is voting for the possibility of Asora getting involved in shenanigans.

Ah. Looks like I read it wrong then. Would have loved if Asora joined in on the kinky fun. What with her teasing Izuku and Aayla. Oh well, can’t have it all which is fine. I mean…hot bunny secretary? Who wouldn’t right?

Sabe+Asora would be with the Padme-only option. The option that adds Sabe to the Main Pairing as well (which is currently winning), likely wouldn't involve Asora.

I personally only played the paradox game but I got most of my lore through YouTube let's plays and lore breakdown videos and a few wiki dives and most of the fanfiction I read are actually quite fateful of the actual lore even when introducing other sources into it the funny thing there is with how you write your storys you can slip into au territory easily and without much problems even if your introducing no new things it could make quite the difference as you would just need the underlying background lore for the tech and a short background on the different factions (also there is the take of some that battletech is just game of thrones in space which describes the politics going on pretty well )...... As for worm yeha there I also only read fanfiction so I have no clue what's actually fanon in that one

I admit that I've been reading some battletech fanfiction relatively recently. Much like Worm, though, pretty much all of my exposure is through fanfiction instead of the source material. I HAVE played a few of the older video games set in that universe over the years, but I was young enough when I did so that I didn't get much into the lore.

Remember, his Ventress is more Chaos than stern, since she didn't fall. Like the plan with dosing the mercs with the burning spice from the warehouse...

If Padme is included, but not Sabe, then the plan is 100% to pair Sabe and Asora up. The two are an extremely good match, with the personalities I've given them. Given the way the vote is swinging I don't think you'll get your Sabe/Padme/Asora triad :-p. In truth, it probably wouldn't have happened anyway. As fun as Padme and Sabe are to write, without a more personal reason to keep them interacting with Izuku, they likely wouldn't have enough contact for that to happen.

I would actually like that Sabé/Asora pairing, so much so that I would only vote for adding Padmé to Izuku if it would definitely also include Sabé/Asora being a thing (and only partially if it would definitely lead to that couple of teases instigating/being swinger's and convincing Padmé/Izuku to join them (with or without any of the rest of Izuku's pairings). That said I think I actually would more like a Padmé/Sabé/Asora triad. If that Triad had the same possibility of "non-dedicated-relationship shenanigans" with Izuku's Poly/Harem as the Sabé/Asora couple did if Padmé is part of the Poly/Harem, then I would vote to not include Padmé. I think I like the idea of Sabé and Asora "Corrupting" Padmé too much. Enough so to lean towards voting to not include Padmé to Izuku's relationship (his other girls would end up Corrupting her on their own too much/before Sabé/Asora could and I like the idea of those to making Padmé loosen up over any of the other girls doing so). Even if that means there will not be anything with Asora and/or Sabé and Izuku. Though, could Izuku be a sperm donor for their kids if they asked?

Yeah she is sadly to young mh only one story in one universe mhh have you ever considered writing something in Battletech so much technology talk could be had....it could be something for after some of your other stories are complete 😜🥺

Yeah. I like Ahsoka a lot, and if I'd inserted Izuku later than I did she would have been a highly likely addition to the pairing. Currently, however? She's all of 11-years-old at the current point in the story. Waaaaaayyy too young. Maybe someday I'll do another Star Wars story with a more appropriate age setup. But I only write one story in any given universe at a time :-p.

Mh well this will be interesting decisions I personally always go for Ashoka Tano as a partner for Star wars mc's but she is definitely to young in this continuity I think but a sane ventress is a superp choice
