January Light Mech - DOWNLOAD LINK (TWO)
🕑 Added 2021-01-28 21:21:45 +0000 UTCDear Patrons,
Thanks for your incredible patience! I hope you will agree it was worth the extra wait!
Below you will find your download link for the Light Mech. There are several links depending on whether you already have Download One.
You will need to use Blender, a piece of free, open-source CAD software, in order to utilise the builder and reposing files which allow for a huge variety of options.
Do not be alarmed - The Mech Blender files are structured and pre-prepared to make them easy for anyone to use with no prior experience. If you can use Chitubox and similar basic CAD programs, then with the instructions we will provide you will be happily customising your mech and weapons in no time!
Full Written Instructions for the Light Mech and Blender are available via Google Docs here:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yJTf57J9ueid2kKyM0SeMCIiI1jI4F1p0ZrGXU6yTdA/edit?usp=sharing
If you want to prepare and print a standard Mech using only Pre-Supported components, you only need to read through the first half of the Guide. The second half (Appendices) covers advanced techniques.
The Instructions are a live draft so if anything is unclear, please let us know so we can make improvements. A screen share video will follow very soon which will make it a lot easier to understand.
Where possible all files are pre-supported, and have been test printed, optimised and where needed printed again, so they should work fine on most printers. The download includes a number of pre supported rifle arm and leg poses, and the option to make any other pose you like (which you'll then need to support yourself, but a video tutorial will be produced with helpful advice on this)
The Download Links
EDIT - Jan 31st - LINKS REMOVED AND DEACTIVATED TEMPORARILY. Our links are taken down slightly before the end of the month to ensure that only people who have paid for the content can access it.
If you are looking for the download link, or have just signed up today (Jan 31st) - Every eligible patron who has paid for January will get a new set of Links, valid for a further 30 days, by private message, in 2-3 days time. Thanks for your patience.

Hello, I just found out about this awesome model, and signed up to get it. Quite sad to see the limited window, but that's life. I've searched the Anvil Industry website for the kit, but can't find it. Is it not up there yet? Regardless, I would quite like to get my hands on this mech STL and am wondering if it would be possible to get the file PM? Perhaps if I paid the proposed amount for putting it up on the store? Thanks, hope to hear from you soon :D
David Schuring
I was joined, but hadn't downloaded pt 2, can't wait to have it.

It will be available to purchase as a digital kit on our website in the near future.

I really hope i will have the link for the mech ^^' subscribe the 31 for nothing and renew for february for a pack i don't want...
Missed the link :( is this going to be an automatic link sent out to patrons who already paid for the month or do we have to ask for the link for it to be sent?
Hey, I accessed this patreon on 28th january and I am interested in finding the high tech links, since they weren't posted on 28th. Is there any chance I can get them now?
joel pitt
It's our standard procedure every month! A new link will be issues soon :)
Matt Ramos
Same here!
Vivian Laidig
Same, didn't realize how little time I had.
Hey, just dropping by to inquire about the possibility of extending the download link for the mech a bit, especially the second batch, as they were only available for less than 72 hours, (e-mail with the information was sent 3 days ago).
Stevan Brasel
Hah, same thing just happened to me. Joined at the last possible second. Glad to hear we'll be e-mailed the links.
Andy Farrell
Im glad you posted that the files will be PM'd to us if we joined on the last day, i just saw the Youtube video and decide to pull the trigger. Im patiently awaiting the link and cant wait to see whats up for February!
James Deane
You drop the DL way late in the month and take it off the weekend after, nice. C'mon Anvil, yer better than this.
Matt Curr
oh, i just signed up here for the mech now i've seen the video. download links are down so i'm going to drop the subscription until i see whats on offer in February (i'm not a WH40k guy, mostly cyber/post-apoc, so a lot you got is hit and miss for me, waiting fervently for that post-apoc scavenger set to hit your MMF shop btw). message here to say "hi" and proof i was part of the Jan Patreon in case anything goes screwy and i'm not sent the mech links :D
Martin Duncan
Please provide the link to the download. I haven't downloaded it yet
Imkariel

Jason Dickerson
Any way we can get these files added to our MMF for patreons?
Looking forward to get the link again, tried to open today on the last day but no luck. Could you please send new link for me, late pledger this month.
Looking forward to getting the link :)

Hello, I just joined the Patreon. This mech is amazing. May I get the link to download it?
Zrune lord
Thanks. Yes % of the Mech.
joel pitt
there will be a new link for teh base plate sent out in a few days time. do you mean % scale for the Mech? I have no idea, sorry. In Blender there is a grid of 1mm increments so measuring a mech digitally would be possible, then you can scale to the height you want.
Zrune lord
Thanks for the great stuff & links. Is it possible to repost the Gothic Void Base Plate as the link is dead, please? What would be the best % size for 15 /18mm ? Thanks
joel pitt
err.. yeah.. totally planned that. :p
Sonic Sledgehammer
Absolutely in awe of the designs here, and I'm wondering if I've seen something quite right. The high-tech front hatch looks slightly reminiscent of some of the body armour from the Regiments range - is that intentional, or just a cool coincidence?
joel pitt
Downscaling to 75% of current size should work fine with the existing supports, but I have not tested it and did not plan for it. Going smaller than that and I recommend building up a complete mech in Blender, exporting it as one solid object and adding supports.
Steffen Knoll
Thanks for the stl!
LiltTheBug
Nevermind, found a version in the other STL only download but they're unsupported.
LiltTheBug
I can't find one of the files in Separate Supported STL's Torso. I'm missing the canopy in there, where can I find it? There's only two Roll Cages.
Any tips for down-scaling? My son is running a Lancer RPG game and I'm wondering if it would work to print a few of these at a size that would fit in a gaming mat hex grid, for use as our Mechs :)

Hve a look at gamma wolves 😁

These shall be the finest sentinels the Imperium of Man has ever seen.
Mortcog
These are so good I'm gonna have to start playing some mech based game, lol
Sonic Sledgehammer
Well, I know what I'm printing tomorrow!
