in such a world with intelligent animals and anthro, what draws the line between a member of the society that has certain rights and the livestock? considering the struggle one must go through to feed themselves, is being a livestock actually a bad thing? in about a decade or two, as the BCI goes into the animal's brain before going wide spread among the humans and shattering the language barrier, this question can be very realistic.
