Most of you don't own a Quest 2 and for the others, you already enjoy the game wired, using the full power of your PC. This release is therefore of little interest to you, and can even raise some concerns.
The Quest is an all-in-one, wireless headset running on android, basically a VR smartphone. It quickly became the #1 headset on the VR market and now have a major influence on the VR video game industry. It is good, because it brings tons of new players and creators. And it is bad because its graphic performances are so bad...
Some games have been severely downgraded to fit Quest capabilities, and some other will only exist for Quest... Nowadays, most of the VR games and experiences are primarily designed for the Quest and are ported on the PC just by adding bigger textures and some shadows. At the end of the day, the Quest tend to lower the graphic quality of the VR video games in general.
We have ambiguous feelings about this. On one hand, we think that the Quest can make our community of player grows, enabling us to create more content, with an increase rhythm. On the other hand, ComeCloser has always been designed as a high-definition, cutting edge experience and we don't want the Quest to lower our ambitions.
So we have decided to create our game primarily for PC (preferably with strong GPU ^^), and port the game on Quest by cutting some content and features out. Not the other way around. This strategy will allow us to respect our original vision, avoid any downgrade for you, dear patrons, and also to prepare for the future generations of faster all-in-one headsets (Quest 3?).
And you will now be able to bring us with you on holidays, which is sweet, isn't it? ^^

Sorry to hear that. Do you know that ComeCloser has many quality options? you can access it in the main menu, by clicking on the spinning gears. your 2060 super should be able to handle the game in low quality, or deactivating the cloth completely may help.

Thanks for this feedback. Hand tracking will surely come but later. Baby steps ^^

I have quest 1, which can link PC to play games, but my graphics card is 2060super, which can't run games.(Software translation)

The Idea two have two Versions is great. I am enjoying my Quest 2 very much. Especially the Resolution and Hand Tracking Features are amazing. Its a overall awesome and well supported Standalone Headset . What you could do regarding PC Users who use the Quest2, please add Hand Tracking Support if the Quest is used Wired and wireless over Virtual Desktop. And sure perhaps in the native Quest Version then one day. So your Step is sure wise and should be done to reach the Quest Community even more. Quest 2 Users can also use Shadow Technology https://shadow.tech/ to connect to Virtual Gaming PCs and there use the Full Grafic Power which you usually only have with a local placed PC . This all works amazingly well and smooth. So overall Quest 2 offers access to every possible VR Content local , wireless, native and also Virtual Gaming Hardware . Highly Recommended to anyone in my opinion.
