Big love on hot tea but you're for real gonna actually scald your skin multiple times in the next few episodes. The jump scares are not predictable and they're terrifying as hell. My fellow audience will know one in particular that I’m talking about but there are others sprinkled throughout the show. Oh, we believe you! You did see a face, you spotted one of the hidden ghosts (on the stairs to the basement)! I didn't see it until I was told where to look, but you got it on first watch. The crush I had on Theo when I found this show... It's something else. Also, that hug between Theo and Nellie after the "coming out" accident is so precious. In the last episode, you noticed Luke didn't hug Theo when going to rehab. I had never noticed that, but I imagine it's because he knows how sensitive she is to touch. The younger brothers are definitely the most clued in to their sensitive side, it seems.

This is so different from the original from the 60s (not in a bad way). In the original, the guests, all adults, were invited to the house because they were psychic... especially Nell and Theo. There are moments that mirror the original, but everything else is different.

the moment when it clicks that the poor child is being abused by that man that signed up for the role to be her parent and the anger I felt...Theo better than me cause they would've been taking me away in handcuffs and him in a body bag. little Theo believing Luke about what happened in the wine basement and immediately going into detective mode was so precious, like none of these kids don't play about their siblings🥹 listen....the scene when Kate touches Nelly's body, then collapses on the floor while screaming and then us getting a flashback of Theo seeing the flashes of all those ghosts + her mom being pushed and seemingly injured...the acting was ON 10
