Nica’s fate was ghastly, but honestly good riddance Junior and fam. they all treated Jake like shit and neglected him, and Junior didn’t even try to do better even before his major trauma sooo i have very little sympathy for the Wheelers😂 the boyfriend line was definitely worth it tho!! so cute and so SWEET 🥺 i do NOT want Lexy’s mom to have a redemption arc tho, so i kinda wish she got it instead of the dad lmao (the dad was also the same actor as the creepy psychiatrist from Cult)

It knew exactly what it was and gave me everything I could’ve asked for 😌 especially getting ME to root for LEXIE at the end? 😭 i was gonna say it’s crazy if she was the only one who made it out with both parents intact but… well, now you’re definitely part of the group girl! Brace yourself, season two of CHUCKY is one of the campiest and gayest seasons of television ever produced. In the VERY best way, naturally. I'd list all the very gay themes and explorations here like Chucky's final body count tally, but I don't wanna spoil things. They go all in, hunty. AND they pay loving tribute to one of the best and sexiest films in lesbian cinema, which I have no doubt will give you a conniption fit. lol Even though aspects of season two are darker, you're gonna have so much fun!

I literally waited to see how Alanda would react to what happened to Nica. What Tiffany did to Nica was real horror. I feel so bad for Nica. First time I watched this series and I got to that moment I was speechless. Chucky & Tiffany truly set out to ruin her life. I mean they have ruined so many lives over the years. Now NO SPOILERS! I got into it with someone who said Nica was a better final girl than Sidney Prescott and I had to laugh because can you imagine Sidney three instalments into her franchise and a not a win to her name? I love Nica and Fiona Dourif really gets to stretch her acting chops but all she does is suffer 😢

Season 1 of Chucky is basically a perfect season, right there with Season 1 of Scream Queens imo. It perfectly balances the unsuspecting horror of the OG Child’s Plays & the camp of Tiffany’s films. Plus I’ll never forget watching week to week when it came out the fall vibes were just too cozy! It must’ve been so cathartic for Don Mancini to finally get to tell a queer coming of age story through his franchise as a queer man himself. I love how he gives us final boys & final girls throughout the franchise. Season 2 is a lot of fun as well and you just get more invested in the characters! Tiffany officially lost me when she took Nica’s beautiful legs, having Jennifer Tilly’s likeness can only take you so far 😔😒
