I think the move to One Pace is a good move, and feel like your motivation on moving is aligned with how some feel and will reactions even better. Your pacing critisms are fair, but I enjoy it slowly as a manga reader myself. Good move, I enjoyed your reaction to the Pudding kiss I felt so horrible for her :/

I’d recommend that you at least watch a couple of the first few episodes for the next arc on regular anime instead of one pace since the anime shows scenes that Oda didn’t have time to show in the manga but it’s up to you

Yeah One Piece has a lot of build up, in the arcs and in general. But it is so worth it to stick with it. I think the build up is the main reason the special moments hit so hard.

I love Reverie and it reminds me how good One Piece really is. It's not that each episode is amazing but the years of backstory or previous arcs all get woven together so well. Even if the average One Piece episode isn't necessarily amazing.. as a whole it adds up to be a 10/10 for me.

Welcome to the reverie or how people like to call it The Namis Assembly 🤣 That arc was a giant wtf from start to finish, and I absolutely love it. I'm glad you watched the one pace version because this arc was probably the worst experience I had weekly in the anime(including Chimara ant arc). Every sentence that seems to allude to a flashback had one and one pace cut all that fluff out.

Kayla, there is something you missed when Kuma was reintroduced, I won't say what it is so you can choose to rewatch that scene to learn about it or not.

Thanks for the reactions! I'm so excited when you react to One Piece! I've never watched 'One Pace' before but I think it was a good idea for the reverie ark (lots of flashbacks. Which is ok! I love flashbacks but there are a lot in this ark). They had to make time for Wano ark to be truly spectacular, and boy they definitely delivered! cant wait for more of your reactions! <3

The reverie arc serves as a reminder that even though we are 900 episodes in, we still know nothing about this anime. Also I believe these were the episodes that were airing weekly when you first began your one piece journey so congrats on kinda catching up!

The Reverie Arc weekly in the manga was absolutely amazing EVERY WEEK, the community was on fire and the theories were so much fun to discuss. It was the most amazing time I had reading a manga weekly. This arc was mind-blowing for how short it was.

I can't wait for you to start the next arc. I know a lot of people think it is super slow at times, but since you can watch more episodes at a time i think it won't be as bad as some people make it sound. And there are some amazing moments in this arc, i think you will love it.
