Well, to be fair Dog and cat did have a discussion on the tree speaking about the existence of a traitor, and taking in account how Kanjuro acted in Dressrosa, it was a likely candidate

I remember years ago, when Oda just finished the Zou Arc of the manga, I read a post predicting that Kanjoro is a traitor. That reader said that since Jack is able to find Zou, and is so sure Raizo is there, he must got some inside information, even Raizo’s vivid card to locate him. Therefore, there must be a traitor among Kinemon, Kanjoro, Raizo, Momo, Cat and Dog. Obviously, it’s not Cat, Dog or Momo. It is not Raizo, either because otherwise Jack would not be so eager to catch him. It is not Kinemon because he was alone with Momo in Punkhazard. If he tried less harder in Punkhazard, Momo would be dead then. So the traitor must be Kanjoro. I remember when I read that, I was like “why you say there must be a traitor again?”, “why Kanjoro is the traitor?”. However, years later, when the Wano manga came out, I was like “damn, are we reading the same manga? How can you predict that so early on?”

what i really love about that last scene in 982 is that zoro instantly knew what luffy was thinking then everyone else follows luffy to end with "yes! captain!" awesome ep
