W for liking purely evil villains. Villains being evil for the sake of being evil are the most entertaining for sure. DIO, Freeza, Vegeta. Such a fun ride. Complex villains are overdone, we need to go back.

So random to like that Piccolo dub scene lmao, I did not expect that. He's supposed to sound like someone ecstatic after getting more powerful, not like someone who just meditated on shrooms after watching Joe Rogan or some evangelical christian after getting exorcised by his local pastor lmao. It's so laughably out-of-context.

I would strongly suggest that you watch the TV Special 01 (Spoiler-ish name). It adds a lot to the saga and I personally think it goes well after episode 86. The show relies a bit on the special and use some scenes from it (it already started doing that). The original broadcast was after episode 63, so from the DBZ tv series POV, it is not spoiler anymore.

Please don't replace it with DBKai. People don't realize, but they like DB because it is long and because of its fillers. Kai cuts out all the slice of life moments, the OST does not have personality, the old animation re-scaled for HD doesn't quite fit and the censorship makes it much worse. You will get much faster from "point A" to "point B", but the canon moments will still be slow paced, which makes the "hype" moments look bad in a strange way. I watched DB when I was a kid, and re-lived the story hundreds of times through games and the manga. I only re-watched Kai, and back then, I thought the show had aged poorly. But now that I am re-watching Z, I realized the problem is that Kai just feels weird.

Kai is more censored due to there being more TV rules when Kai was released and today then there was back in the day. I would just stay with DBZ and watch the highlights on Kai later

About Zarbon letting it slip to Vegeta that Freeza could transform, this was actually an error from when the anime was produced in Japan. In the manga when Zarbon overpowered Vegeta in their first fight, he made a comment like "This is nothing, Freeza also has the ability to transform!", which shocked and terrified Vegeta. When they created the anime episode, they made a mistake and forgot to include that line, so the audience was already supposed to know that Freeza had this ability when Vegeta calls him out on it. That's why it seems to come out of nowhere that Vegeta has this information.
