Love X-men because almost everyone can relate to being other'd/being mistreated for something outside your control. And I've always loved seeing Professor X's hopeful fight for tolerance and coexistence juxtaposed against Magneto's cynical "it's us or them" mentality that's rooted in the Holocaust and he feels mentally locked in a perpetual fight or flight mode.

oh the nostalgia hits for this one, it was a lot of fun. There are some versions of Magneto that I understand people agreeing with him but this movie was not one of those lol but he is still one of my favorite characters. so cool
